Joseph McLamb joined the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs in May of 2020 as Chief of Staff. He previously served for 30 years in the United States Army as an infantryman, to include overseas tours in the Republic of Korea, Panama, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His final assignment in the Army was as the Deputy Commanding Officer of the US Army Training Center and Fort Jackson.
