COLUMBIA, S.C. - Veterans in South Carolina have four opportunities to receive benefits and claims assistance from the Columbia VBA Regional Office during the month of March. The VA will host a 3-day VEAC Claims clinic in the Midlands and a claims clinic in the Upstate to assist Clemson University student Veterans and other Veterans in the surrounding area.
Bluff Road VEAC Claims Clinic
The Columbia VBA Regional Office is hosting a VEAC Claims Clinic in partnership with SCDVA and several Veteran Service Organizations from March 21-23 at the Bluff Road National Guard Armory (1225 Bluff Road, Columbia, SC 29201). During this three day event, Veterans and their families can receive assistance with filing claims and get answers regarding their benefits with representatives on-site. This year, eligible Veterans can even receive C&P exams to help determine service-related disabilities. Those in attendance will also receive assistance with:
- VA Disability Compensation and Pension claims filing and assistance for Veteran and Widow benefits
- Veteran Readiness & Employment Benefits
- VHA Health Care benefits and on-site enrollment
- VA National Cemetery Administration Memorial Benefits
- Mental health counseling resources
- Homeless, low-income housing and vocational support services
- Columbia VAHCS Environmental Health Coordinator
- VA Mobile Vet Center
- Volunteer & Employment Opportunities

Clemson VA Claims Clinic
The Columbia VBA Regional Office is hosting a VA Claims Clinic March 11 at the Madren Conference Center (230 Madren Center Drive, Clemson, SC 29634) from 8:30am - 5pm. The event will feature several Veteran Service Organizations and is designed to be a one-stop shop for any questions our South Carolina Veterans, Veteran family members, and caretakers may have. Those in attendance will receive assistance with:
